And they sell the Florensac wines at just 1 or 2 euros above the price outside in the Cave. The comments on the wines are generally good - both Ormarine and Vignerac at Pomerols are doing a wider variety of wines, and the reds from nearby vVeyrac are coming on. We have a holiday house an hour away and would go across often to get some good wines at really good prices.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01715411578539385465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8473859950804429810.post-90113635368614444922011-03-23T16:55:06.542+00:002011-03-23T16:55:06.542+00:00How right you are ....How right you are ....Rosemary George MWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06776744262502705697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8473859950804429810.post-56181105604771502052011-03-22T17:18:16.381+00:002011-03-22T17:18:16.381+00:00I think the Cave has really upped its game in rece...I think the Cave has really upped its game in recent years Rosemary. I remember it being OK 5 or 6 years ago but we stayed in a gite, literally just around the corner in 2009 and I found the wines to have improved nicely in quality. There is fruit in these dry wines and, as you say, sit at a table in one of the restaurants on the Etang and it is the perfect drink.AlanMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00020464540350211578noreply@blogger.com
